Can I use Medicaid to pay for my visit?
We accept Medicaid and most other insurance, including State Children's Health Insurance Programs (SCHIP), and United Concordia's Tricare.
What do I need to bring?
In order to receive treatment, you must provide a photo ID and contact information. If you plan to use insurance coverage, please bring a current insurance card. Our office may also request the date of birth and phone number of the patient being treated and/or their parent or guardian
What’s the best way to help prepare my child for their visit? What if they’re scared?
Our staff is accustomed to working with children, so we’ll work with you to help your child feel safe and comfortable. Before your child’s visit, take some time to prepare them by talking to them about their visit. Listen to their concerns and questions and reassure them. Other ideas for preparing your child include:
Imagining a visit to the dentist and practicing aspects of a typical visit, including sitting back in a chair and opening their mouth for the dentist.
Comforting your child by allowing them to bring a favorite toy or blanket along to their appointment or offering to stay with them in the treatment room.
Reading books and watching videos created for kids about visiting the dentist. Look for options that feature your child’s favorite characters.
Setting a good example by not speaking negatively about the dentist, even if you’re nervous.
Demonstrating good oral health by brushing and flossing with your child each day.
What will happen during my child’s visit?
Our staff will work closely with you and your child to shepherd you through your visit. Beginning with a consultation, a member of our staff will take time to listen to your questions and concerns and explain the day’s procedures so that you can be comfortable before treatment starts. Afterwards, you’ll be provided with everything you need to continue care at home.
Is there a set price for a visit?
No. Each patient's cost will vary based on factors such as the necessary treatments, insurance coverage, and more. Request a free consultation before your visit to better understand what it will cost and how you can afford the amount you will be responsible for.
Where do I wait during my child’s visit?
You’re welcome to stay in the treatment room with your child. Many families choose this option, although occasionally it is distracting for the child. If you’re unsure what is best for your family, our staff can help you make the best choice for your family at the time of your visit.
